The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) has spent the last year meeting with North Minneapolis neighbors learning how our parks are used and what improvements are most desired 
at each neighborhood park. The information gathered from these conversations was provided to local and national designers who have now developed initial design concepts for every park in North Minneapolis. The concepts will inform future, outdoor improvements to the parks.
Victory Park (adjacent to Loring Community School) is slated for $750,000 in capital improvements in 2023. Victory neighbors are encouraged to share their feedback and ideas with ViNA and MPRB on the park’s initial redesign concept and all of the parks designs in the coming weeks. Some initial design highlights for Victory’s parks include a boardwalk at Ryan Lake Park, and an adventure course and outdoor classroom at Victory Park.
