Block Ambassadors are part of the ViNA Welcome Program.
Connected neighborhoods not only create a sense of community, but also significantly reduce opportunities for crime to occur. ViNA Block Ambassadors volunteer their time to create a social network on their block and connect their neighbors to the larger Victory community as well as act as an communication arm between the Victory Neighborhood Association and Victory residents. Block Ambassadors are not Block Club Leaders(BCL). BCL are part of MPD. Block Ambassadors focus on community building and information sharing regarding events, meetings and other relative neighborhood information.
