Be Involved

There are many opportunities to be involved in the Victory Neighborhood Association. It is the people of Victory that make it a great place to live, work, and play and we encourage you to take an active role in growing our community.

Become a Member

Community members are our stakeholders. To become a member of Victory Neighborhood Association, a resident has to either live within the Victory neighborhood of Minneapolis or have a business they operate within our Victory neighborhood boundaries. Members can attend neighborhood monthly meetings, which are also open to the public but are able to vote at the meetings regarding organizational business that is brought forth to the community. Members also vote at our annual board elections which are held at our September annual meeting.

Volunteer

ViNA has opportunities for ongoing volunteers or one-time volunteers. Volunteers help maintain Victory’s public garden spaces, deliver its newsletter, manage clerical tasks, and serve on committees. To see how your time and skills might be best used, contact the ViNA office or join a committee.

Engage

Residents being intentional, active community members is the foundation of any great neighborhood. We encourage you to get out and introduce yourself to your neighbors, welcome new ones, shop our neighborhood businesses, and share your voice with ViNA and our elected officials. Attend community meetings to be informed on neighborhood issues and consider becoming a block ambassador so you can make your own little corner of our world better.
