We invite you to get to know the Victory Neighborhood Association better. Our board, staff, and volunteers are working hard on your behalf and need your ideas and time to build our village. Please join us for one or all of the upcoming events to learn more about our organization and more about how your skills and ideas can shape our neighborhood.

Open House
Saturday, September 22, 10AM-Noon
ViNA Office, 2200 44th Avenue North

If you’ve always wondered what ViNA is and how you fit in the mix, this is the perfect opportunity. Join us for the open house to see our space, chat with staff about our home rebate programs and other services, learn how you can share your time and skills by volunteering, and enjoy treats from the Thirsty Whale Bakery and Corner Coffee.

Annual Meeting & Board Elections
Wednesday, September 26, 7PM
The Goddess of Glass, 4400 Osseo Road North

Look back at ViNA’s year, celebrate our outstanding volunteers, vote on a new mission statement and bylaws amendments, elect new board members, &  provide feedback on 44th Avenue’s redesign at our 2018 Annual Meeting.

Meeting attendees will be voting on whether or not to adopt the following:

Mission statement: Victory is a neighborhood building community through inclusion, fairness, and wellness, achieved through communication, outreach, and engagement.
Bylaw Amendment, Article VII F: Any Director may be removed from the Board of Directors, with or without cause, by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the entire Board at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors or at a special meeting of the Board of Directors called for that purpose.
Bylaw Amendment, Article VIII D: Residency in Victory is required to chair any Victory Neighborhood Association committee or subcommittee. 

Four seats on ViNA’s board are also up for election at the Annual Meeting, two races are uncontested at this time. Board members are responsible for the governance of the Victory Neighborhood Association and for ensuring that its strategies and priorities align with the community’s needs. Reception & New Resident Welcome

Join us following the Annual Meeting for a reception at Tori 44 to enjoy refreshments, a cash bar, and neighborly camaraderie. If you’re new to Victory or new to ViNA, we will toast you with a big, ‘welcome to the neighborhood’ and you will take home ViNA’s official welcome bag.
