At the May 22 ViNA meeting, Hennepin County Public Works engineers will present two draft proposals for the redesign of the traffic lanes on Osseo Road and the redesign of the intersection at 44th and Penn. Hennepin County will be doing a resurfacing of Osseo Road this fall (2013). In conjunction with this road work they may be:
- Reducing Osseo Road to two lanes of traffic with a center turn lane.
- Realigning the lanes at the intersection of Osseo Road , 44th and Penn.
- Adjusting the traffic signals and pedestrian crossings at 44th and Osseo Road.
This redesign could change traffic patterns in the neighborhood. Hennepin County will be asking for YOUR comments and input into the proposed changes.
